When I do in person workshops this is a very popular workshop. Inspired by Hundertwasser you will learn about transfer foiling and all of my favourite machine embroidery stitches. Its a really good fun project, great for gifts too.

A few years ago I had the opportunity to got to India. I have made lots of projects and embroideries inspired by my trip. This is a nice print and collage project. Lots of ideas for mixed media fans.

This is a workshop inspired by an embroidery i made many years ago called the ledbury wrap. It involves making a base fabric by weaving scraps together. Then over printing, in this project it has a noughts and crosses theme but it could be anything, flowers, text, simple shapes. Top of the surface with machine and hand embroidery and make into a wrap for your notebook.

Oh I loved making this cushion, i have several actually. I was inspired when listening to the Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. It is mostly transfer printing using different fabric bases. Just a big experimental piece that came out as a very pleasing project. There is some machine embroidery too.

This workshop is nice hand embroidery project with a bit of hand printing to get started. i really had a lovely time doing the stitching, every motif is different. You will make it up into a pencil case but you could manipulate the pattern to any size and shape.
